

Ingredients
- 400g diced beef
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 red chilli chopped
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 100ml beef stock
- 1 tsp five spice
- 50g brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp water
Method
- On a medium heat add the diced beef to a pan and sear off until lightly brown then set aside.
- Add the seared beef and the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker, stir until combined season well with salt and pepper then cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4-5 hours.
- 30 minutes before serving, mix 2 tbsp of cornflour with 2 tbsp of water and stir into the beef mixture to thicken the sauce. Serve with fluffy white rice and garnish with fresh coriander.
