Delicious Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 4 tbsp honey

  • 150ml chicken stock

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 600g chicken thighs

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Instructions


1. Add everything to the slow cooker
Add the onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, chicken stock, oregano and chicken thighs to the slow cooker. Season well with salt and pepper and mix together.


2. Slow cook
Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.


3. Thicken the sauce
15 minutes before serving, mix the cornflour with 2 tbsp water and stir into the slow cooker. Allow the sauce to thicken.


4. Serve and enjoy
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, rice or vegetables.
