Sticky Hoisin Pork
Serves 2 (432 calories | 29.4g protein per serving with 200g cooked rice)
This is my quick and easy sticky hoisin pork, ready in 15 minutes for the perfect easy midweek dinner.
Ingredients:
3 pork steaks, cut into cubes
1 tbsp five-spice powder
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp rice wine vinegar
To Garnish:
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp spring onion, finely sliced
Method:
- Cut the pork steaks into bite-sized cubes and coat them evenly with the five-spice powder.
- Cook the pork cubes in an air fryer at 200°C for 8–9 minutes, then set aside.
- While the pork is cooking, add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice wine vinegar to a pan over low heat. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens and turns glossy.
- Add the cooked pork to the pan, ensuring each piece is coated in the sticky sauce.
- Plate the pork on a bed of fluffy white rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onion for a finishing touch.
