Slow Cooker Chicken Korma Recipe

This is my rich and tender Slow Cooker Chicken Korma, my lighter take on the classic Chicken Korma take out version this one is a must try, lets go: 


Ingredients:

  • 600g chicken thighs 
  • 1 large onions chopped 
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced 
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced 
  • 3 tbsp korma paste 
  • 400ml full fat coconut milk 
  • 2 tbsp ground almonds 
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree 
  • 1 tsp paprika 
  • 1 tsp turmeric 
  • 1 tsp chilli powder 
  • 50ml chicken stock cube 
  • 1 tbsp cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp natural yoghurt 

Method: 

  • Add all the ingredients into the slow cooker, mix together then cook for high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours. 
  • 30 minutes before serving add the cornflour mixture, then ten mins before serving add 2 tbsp natural yoghurt. 
  • Garnish with flaked almonds, chopped fresh coriander and 1 tbsp sultanas, enjoy.
